1. Overview

Paper Chapel operates this online store and website, including its content, features, products, and related services (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer and sell our products.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe the rules that apply when you visit our website, use the Services, or place an order with Paper Chapel.

By accessing the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies referenced below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Store Use

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.

You must not use the website or its content to violate any law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute harmful code, interfere with the operation or security of the website, collect information about other users without permission, or engage in fraudulent or misleading activity.

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence or use the Services with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Products

Paper Chapel sells physical, unframed art prints unless a product page expressly states otherwise.

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display every product accurately. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings, lighting, and the normal characteristics of the printing process.

Please review the selected design, color, and size before placing your order. Product descriptions, prices, availability, and offered variations may change without notice. Changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.

We may limit product quantities or restrict sales by person, order, address, or geographic location.

4. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order when necessary, including because of a pricing or product error, unavailable fulfillment, payment problems, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, or an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the canceled amount to the original payment method.

You are responsible for reviewing your order and providing complete and accurate billing, contact, and shipping information.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated.

The final product price, applicable taxes, and shipping charge are shown during checkout before payment is completed.

Prices and promotions may change without notice. The price applied to an accepted order is the price displayed at checkout when the order was placed, except in the case of an obvious error.

You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided for your order.

6. Cancellations and Address Changes

Because our prints are made to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order or correct its shipping address.

Requests to cancel or change an order for preference reasons can usually be considered only before production begins. This does not affect any right to cancel an unshipped delayed order.

Sending a request does not guarantee that the order can be changed or canceled.

7. Returns and Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges because of a change of mind, an incorrectly selected size or color, or other preference-based reasons.

Problems involving a damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or lost order are handled separately under our Return & Refund Policy.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Paper Chapel currently ships only to eligible addresses within the United States.

Production and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery can be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, address problems, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Available shipping rates, estimated timeframes, tracking, and instructions for reporting a delivery problem are described in our Shipping Policy.

9. Accounts and Customer Information

Some features may allow you to create or use a customer account. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for activity performed through your account.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when using the Services or placing an order.

10. Intellectual Property

The Paper Chapel name, original written content, product descriptions, layouts, graphics, product photography, and other materials created by or licensed to Paper Chapel are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website and its content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit protected website content without prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms claims exclusive ownership over underlying works that are in the public domain.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may include tools, payment services, integrations, or links provided by third parties.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy practices. Paper Chapel is not responsible for websites or services that we do not operate.

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform supporting this store but is not the seller of products purchased from Paper Chapel.

13. Errors and Service Changes

We may correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, pricing errors, availability issues, or other mistakes.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services. If an error affects an order that cannot reasonably be fulfilled, we may cancel the affected item and issue an appropriate refund.

14. Disclaimer

We aim to provide accurate information and a reliable shopping experience. However, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at every time.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paper Chapel will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the Services.

Our total liability relating to a product order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order, except where applicable law does not permit such a limitation.

16. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services or our practices. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Changes do not retroactively alter the terms that applied to an order already accepted unless required by law.
